Dr. Ramsue has held progressive leadership positions during his career, encompassing senior medical officer, medical director, chief of staff, regional medical director, and vice president of medical affairs. His correctional experience began in 2005, and currently, he is Statewide Medical Director for Centurion Managed Care in Mississippi. A Certified Executive Coach, Dr. Ramsue also operates a consultancy focused on leadership development for health care executives and clinicians and has expertise in performance improvement and risk management. He also is consultant for diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Dr. Ramsue is a veteran of both the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force, retiring after 25 years of service as a Lieutenant Colonel. He holds a master’s degree in health care management and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Medicine.
